Christmas Time!

It's nearly Christmas! YAY I'm so excited haha the thing that really got me excited was when it started to snow I love the snow :D In fact I am SUCH a dork that I went and took pictures :) Yes, I am actually that sad haha








Also coming up soon is my BIRTHDAY
My 16th birthday to be exact ;) tomorrow. It's driving Mom INSANE hahaha

It's been AGES!

I know, I've not actually posted anything for absolute ages, but one of my friends has now reminded me that this blog exists, and now I feel guilty for neglecting it haha.
So, what's happened since I last wrote...
EFY!!! hahaha but that's too awesome to put into words :)
Oh, Prelims ¬¬ those evil things. I've JUST finnished them (YAY) but man did they drain me. I had 9, the last of which was art (which I am SURE I'm failed) and you will not BELIEVE which part of the RE exam I failed. Christianity. That's right, I failed that part of the exam. And the ONLY reason was that the stupid teacher won't allow me to answer those questions MY way. I have to answer them in the form of "mainstream christianity" so basically the Church of Scotland. Ugh. Oh, and I managed to pass my Chemistry WOOP :D
I actually CAN NOT think of anything else to say, so I shall go ^^ bye!

Summer!!!

It's the summer holidays now :D and i just got back from camp on Saturday. It Was Awesome!! I loved it, the best camp yet! The food was great (thanks Mom and Penny ;) ) and so were the activities. The first day we spent most of it setting up our campsite and stuff (did I mention it was kinda a joint camp? the YM were having their camp at the same time and place as the YW) so we didnt really do much else.
The second day though, we had a hike. I LOVED the hike it was awesome. Although, the YM got to go swimming in the resevoir and we didn't (I love swimming). So, we walked past the YM trying to show off their amazing jumping-into-the-water powers, and ended up at a shaded, grassy area on the other side of a second resevoir...if that sentence makes sense haha. So we settled down and were silent for 30 minutes. Absolutely silent, we just wrote in our journals, took in our surroundings and prayed. UNTIL (dun dun dun) who should appear? The YM :O. Laura and I were sitting quite near each other (and yes, we were actually not even looking at each other till the YM appeared) and we could see them on the other shore walking up the path. Who else should we hear but one of our friends say something about "If YOU were attacked by a polar bear, what would you do?" That started me and Laura giggling. BUT THEN we heard an 11 year old boy (I'm 15 in case you didnt know) say "I'm gonna ask Kaitlyn out" (and yes I was the ONLY Kaitlyn at camp). That was enough to send me and Laura into a maaaajor case of the giggles, we just couldnt stop :D
after that...we did crafts, and later on in the day we had a campfire...ok it was pretty much night haha.
So, the campfire...first we just sat and sang hymns. That was lovely, all the youth and their leaders singing...it sounded beautiful. At some point we stopped singing, and we moved onto a testimony meeting. Absolutely brilliant, i loved it. Although at one point, there was a girl named Natalie who fainted at the campfire, and that kinda disrupted the meeting. I finally got up (after natalie was gone) and bore my testimony (ummm is it bore? i dont know haha). I cried. Then i went and sat back down. And cried some more. Then someone else bore (???) their testimony. And I kept crying. I cried lots haha.
So, after that was finished Laura, Kirsty and I were dragged up to the kitchen where we reaceived (YAAAAAY) hot water bottles!!!! they were nice and toasty (we froze the first night). So we went to our tents, and we heard...I think it must have been Jamie (the priesthood leader at our camp) go "Man by day...WEREWOLF BY NIGHT!!" and then he howled. We laughed at him ^^
OH on the second day we also had a water fight, we got SOAKED it was fun ^^
Ok, im bored of writing now, and not really much happened on the last day...we learned the YW theme in signlanguage, it is so cool!!!!

RME

I loooooove taking RME but sometimes it's just such a pain! I normally enjoy being able to debate on the existence of God and stuff like that, but yesterday we had to watch a video, and not just any video, a video on the life of Jesus Christ ¬¬ Yes, thats what I said. It's called Jesus of Nazareth I believe, and I was a bit worried when he told us we would be watching it, so my friend Alix checked what rating it was, and it said PG. SO we thought we weould be safe. PG my foot, it was unbelievably graphic, and it actually made me cry to have to watch it. Actually, I didn't watch it, I stared at the desk or the teacher BEGGING that he would notice me and tell me to leave or something. I would have asked to leave, IF a certain person hadn't been siiting right behind me. If he saw me ask to leave he would make sure I saw pictures the rest of my days in that class.
Anyway, what's been going on so far...weeeell my mom made a surprise visit to America to see my aunt and her family sealed in the Temple ^^ soooo funny, my aunt had nooooo idea my mom was coming, so she had a huge surprise. It was one of those moments where a picture just HAD to be taken RIGHT at the time my mom appeared on the doorstep.
I was at the Preston Temple on Saturday and I LOVED it. I did baptisms, and then kinda wandered around the grounds and the pond until we went for a tour of the MTC. That was cool, The Elders and Sisters sang for us, and it was beautiful, I loved the song they sang. Did I mention it was a stake temple trip? Our whole stake went...well, the whole stake was INVITED, going is something else all together haha.
Let's see, what else...OH, next week is the last week of school, and me and my friend Grace get to spen the WHOLE week painting a mural in the 1st year playground, it's for our Eco-School council thing haha, the mural has an Eco theme. There's another mural in the same playground that we painted last year and it looks AWESOME ^^ a girl named Slava (how cool is her name?) designed the first one.
I can't really think of much else, other than I am driving my RME teacher INSANE by refusing to use the Good News bible and bring my own small quad to school with me when I have an RME lesson :D

Swimsuits

What is up with swimsuits now?
Me and my family went swimsuit shopping today for me and my little sister, and there was a slight problem...
Hardly ANY one-piece swimsuits. I found 3 that could have worked...and thats it...and they didn't even work becasue they were all too low and didn't fit properly. We even tried Tankinis (cause some are modest) and there weren't any modest ones. What is up with the world? all that there is are bikinis, and they just make me uncomfortable! WHY?! I swear they want to torture me, cause I really REALLY don't like tankinis or bikinis...at all.
I seriously think this is something retailers need to think about, cause I need a new swimsuit haha.

Up till now...

Haven't written in ages, so i thought i'd give an update :D
Last weekend my family went to vogire with two other families, and it was sooooo much fun :D I absolutely loved it
Today was not as fun, but I still enjoyed it. Today was the Easter Fayre at my school, so I showed up at 8 o'clock to set up and stayed there until 12:30. And I got to do the best job, face painting!! The little kids were so cute, they were so shy until you started to talk to them and then they just talked and talked and talked. :D
I have to admit though, painting a butterfly on someones face got kinda boring after the second thousand one :D
Oh, and I got a ton of free books :D I'm such a bookworm haha

Kitty Litter Mask??

I kinda went on a search for homemade scrubs, because they are super expensive :P and I found a bunch of stuff, and then I tarted to look for masks and I saw this, and we had 2 bags of unopened kitty litter, cause our cat is now gone, so I thought I'd try it, and yes I have tried it.
